This April I will be running the 2019 Boston Marathon on the Bottom Line team, an amazing cause that provides assistance to first-generation students of low-income backgrounds to get into college, graduate, and go far following graduation.
Through assistance from Bottom Line's amazing mentors, 79% of students within the Bottom Line program were able to obtain a bachelor's degree. This is more than four times the national average for low-income students. With your help, Bottom Line will be able to extend their services to so many more deserving students. Thank you so much for your support!
Bottom Line – Massachusetts is celebrating over 20 years of serving and first-generation students from low-income backgrounds get in to college, graduate from college, and go far in life. Since 1997, we have provided one-on-one guidance and mentoring to thousands of high school and college students. This year, we will be providing personalized support to over 3,500 students across Massachusetts. Bottom Line's 2019 Boston Marathon Team (Team Go Far) will run 26.2 miles on April 16th as a way to contribute to our organization and the students we support. We're hoping to raise more than $75,000 this year through our marathon team, which will make a huge impact on our organization. We hope you'll consider making a contribution to the team or a specific runner. Each member of Team Go Far has an interesting story and a personal motivation for our cause. We encourage you to get to know them. Whatever you can contribute will help our students get in, graduate, and go far!
