BENEFITING: ALLIED SERVICES FOUNDATION
ORGANIZER: ALLIED SERVICES FOUNDATION
EVENT DATE: Nov 06, 2016
I'm proud to be running the TCS NYC Marathon to help children and adults with disabilities in NE and Central Pennsylvania served by Allied Services. Any size donation will help. Donate $30 in my honor and you'll be eligible to receive a cool moisture-wicking WNEP's Ryan's Run exercise shirt.
My name is Laura Robson and I am 36 years old from Wellsboro, PA. I am a mother of two girls, Jordis age 7 and Kendall age 5. I work as a Paraprofessional at Baker Tilly in Wellsboro, PA. I am running because of my daughter Jordis. My daughter suffered a stroke before her birth and has hemiplegia cerebral palsy. She does physical and occupational therapy and has in the past needed leg and hand braces. She has overcome so much in her 7 years already and has become a good runner herself. I want her to know that challenges are meant to be overcome.
