A Better Way provides shelter and services for victims of domestic violence, transitional housing, advocacy for victims of sexual assault, a 24-hour crisis line for persons in any type of crisis, AOK afterschool programs, a national suicide hotline, bullying, teen dating violence and domestic violence prevention programs, and a check-in call service for elderly or disabled homebound persons.
What your donations provide:
A $10 donation will provide 12 meals to hungry families in need. Meals are provided to all our clients for breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week.
A $25 doantion will provide crisis/hotline intervention to those who need emotional support, intervention, and/or referrals.
A $50 donation saves a life from suicide. We provide a 24/7 suicide hotline available for those feeling suicial or seeking emotional support nation-wide.
A $100 doantion provides one day of services for our clients. Services may include one day of safe shelter, legal advocacy, emotional support, information & referral, transportaiton, and parenting assitance.
A $150 donation provides resources for survivors to escape abuse, including conducting residential intakes to provide shelter services to victims of domestic violence.
A $300 donation provides domestic violence and sexual assault support groups for 20 adults.
