We need YOUR help!
Did you know the primary reason domestic violence survivors remain in or return to an abusive relationship is because they don't have the financial resources to leave?
YWCA Alaska's Women's Economic Empowerment Center targets obstacles that prevent individuals from attaining financial independence. We offer classes and counseling to help women improve their job opportunities and take control of their financial lives.
For the second year, we are part of a bold effort to ignite public awareness and raise funds for the financial empowerment of domestic violence survivors through the Allstate Purple Purse Challenge.
October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and we invite you to join us in our mission to support domestic violence survivors through financial empowerment.
