I am running the Boston Marathon in memory of my wife, Deborah Mari Morris. She died of leukemia on July 12, 2008, the summer after our only son, Ben, finished his freshman year at the University of Wisconsin. She was fun loving and I miss her jokes and smile and laugh. I didn't run when she was alive so she never saw me run a race. When I run now I feel like she's cheering me on. I am hoping to raise money in her honor for Young Life, Boston Southwest. Young Life is an outreach program to middle school and high school students which was instrumental in helping me know that Jesus loves me and everyone He has made. You can see more about Young Life at this website: http://bostonsouthwest.younglife.org/Pages/default.aspx. Thank you for your support and encouragement!
