GEOGRAPHY SHOULD NOT BE THE REASON WHY A CHILD LIVES OR DIES.
Most developing countries still lack access to pediatric critical care resources, especially surgical care, leaving parents without a way to care for sick children.
Through our four programs, World Pediatric Project treats children suffering from birth defects, illness, and injury while empowering local medical communities to better care for their children.
We send surgical and diagnostic teams to our partner countries in Central America and the Caribbean to provide life-saving critical care and treatment services to children in need.
We coordinate care for children through programs based in the United States, by transporting children in need of especially complex care to U.S.-based or regional facilities capable of providing the services they need.
We develop prevention programs targeted at reducing birth defects and preventable diseases through health education and distribution of essential medical resources, ensuring that tomorrow's children will be born healthy and happy.
We build local healthcare capacity by providing training and medical resources to doctors, nurses, and hospitals in our partner countries to create sustainable solutions for today's pediatric crises.
Every dollar you donate turns into $4 through the power of in-kind donations from doctors, nurses, hospitals, and suppliers.
You can help heal a child! Please consider helping us with our mission.
