One in five American girls and young women miss school and/or work because they cannot afford menstrual products. Twin sisters, Brooke and Breanna Bennett, age 12, aim to alleviate "Period Poverty" by providing sanitary pads and hygiene items to at-risk youth globally, beginning in the U.S. The twins created the Women in Training, Inc. (WIT) charity to support the #WITKIT Campaign for menstrual and personal hygiene supplies.
