We've expanded our holiday book drive to THREE cities this year... so we need your help! :)

As part of this annual holiday drive, we ask teachers in grade pre-kindergarten through third grade to each create a lesson plan around one book for the last week of school before the winter break. Wish Upon a Book buys and wraps a copy of the book for every student to take home for the holidays! We figure that since they've read it at school and done engaging activities around it, they're more likely to continue to pick it up again over and over at home... fostering a love of reading at a young age!

We're a small nonprofit (as we have three kids and busy "day jobs"), but we have a great partnership with the schools and love to promote reading. We got the following quote last year from one of our teachers at San Miguel last year "Thank you so much for the wonderful books your organization provided for my students. Words can't express how thankful I am for your generosity!"
