WHAT: The North Carolina Bar Association presents a month-long food and fund drive competition to see who can raise the most food to benefit local North Carolina Food Banks. The competition is March 6th - March 31st.
WHO: All North Carolina law-related organizations may participate. Wake Forest School of Law is competing against the other NC law schools.
WHERE: Donations go directly to the Feeding America Food Bank. Our local food bank is the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC.
WHY: Over 1.8 million North Carolinians are considered "food insecure." Nearly 1 in 4 children under the age of 5 in North Carolina does not get enough to eat. We can make a difference! Plus, Wake Forest Law has won the law school division 3 years running...let's make it 4!
HOW: It's easy! Donate online at the Wake Law page or drop canned food in the bins around campus.
Ill provide weekly updates on Wednesdays throughout the duration of the competition.
Please consider donating on behalf of Wake Forest Law because together we can make a difference in our community!
