THE STORY:
2015 marks the 40th anniversary of the Workforce Development Division. Beginning with just two programs, we have since provided over 20 training and employment services to over 95,000 clients. This year alone, we will be training more than 200 low wage immigrants for careers in hospitality, construction and luxury retail and providing over 475 adults with English literacy skills. Our services are targeted at immigrants living in poverty and are free to those who qualify.
Your generous donation will ensure that the Workforce Development Division can continue to provide quality training and educational services to communities most at need. Thank you for your support!
I have been with the Workforce Development Division for 6 years. My job is to oversee all the great educational and employment services offered by the division. The best part of my work is seeing our students and clients develop their skills to be able to integrate into their communities and to have fulfilling careers.
