EVENT DATE: Apr 21, 2017
Project Pulse is a local initiative run out of W.P. Wagner High School in Edmonton, Alberta. As a school, we have chosen to “BEAT AS ONE” to raise awareness for those children and families affected with congenital and acquired heart disease. Through partnership with the Children’s Heart Society (CHS), our goal is to raise over $60,000 to help support the ongoing support, education, and research programs provided by the CHS.
The Wagathon is a 24-hour event associated with Project Pulse. Student teams of 6-10 will keep their stationary bike tires spinning from 8am on April 21, 2017 to 8am on April 22, 2017. During the time other team members are not riding, they can sleep, eat, support their team member who is riding, and participate in the activities that will be taking place throughout the school in the 24 hours. This portion of the event will be ridiculously fun!
