BENEFITING: TENNESSEE VIETMAN VETERANS INC
The 2015 Region III Conference, hosted by the Tennessee State Council (TSC), Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA), will emphasize the Volunteer spirit in Knoxville, TN, honored as one of America’s most patriotic and military cities. Knoxville, which served as host city for the 2014 Medal of Honor Society Conference, continues to roll out the red carpet for America’s veterans and military community.
Knoxville opened its arms for the 1st of the Tennessee State Council’s Agent Orange Town Hall Meetings and the city was chosen to host the 1st of TSC’s statewide PTSD & Suicide Prevention Town Hall Meeting campaign on December 2, 2014.
On March 26 -29, 2015, it is anticipated that 300+ Vietnam Veterans and guests will travel from more than seven states in Region III to the Hilton Hotel in Knoxville to learn from noted experts and share important information and training regarding Agent Orange and the linked diseases affecting veterans and their children and grandchildren. Work will also continue in the battle against veteran PTSD and the increasing crisis of veteran suicide. Participants will attend workshops, small group sessions and lectures, and will be able to take this information back to educate their communities, other veteran organizations and all local veterans.
But, now we need your help. We are asking for donations to assist us in hosting this event and underwrite the expenses not covered by conference fees, which are deliberately kept at a minimum to allow as many Vietnam Veterans and guests to attend as possible. No donation is too small. 100% of donations received by Tennesseee Vietnam Veterans, Inc. will be used to fund the training and educating of Region III Vietnam veterans and their families. Any processing fees are not the responsibility of TVVI.
TSC is a 501(c)(19) non-profit veterans organization and our Foundation, Tennessee Vietnam Veterans, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit veterans organization, and all contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law.
