We Reached Our Goal!!

"A Friend’s House" is a social day program for those with memory and cognitive impairments due to Alzheimer’s disease, mini strokes, vascular problems or Parkinson’s disease with symptoms of dementia. All attendees have some level of confusion or forgetfulness. All benefit greatly from socializing with peers and reminiscing. The program also provides physical activities in the form of a "Sit and be Fit" exercise program. All activities are designed to stimulate their memories and give them a sense of accomplishment.
We have a number of patients who are unable to get the full benefit of our adult day care program due to their own financial constraints and to those of Visiting Homemaker Service. While our program is open five days per week, those affected patients are currently only able to attend fewer than five days per week for financial reasons. Their caregivers could use a needed break if their loved ones could attend our program additional days.
Please help our adult day care patients and their caregivers by providing the additional funding they need to attend our program the full five days per week. Any amount will help!!
