Vineyard Christian Academy is a CSI accredited school providing Christian education for students in PK - 8th grades. We are a NAUMS certified University Model school in which professional teachers combine the best attributes of traditional classroom schooling, (Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays), with home-based learning (Wednesday and Fridays). Our goal is to prepare academically solid students with the ability to succeed in whatever direction they choose. We develop independent thinking and self-initiative while working together in classes and small groups to grow relational and community building skills. We believe in fostering the development of Christian character to prepare our students to courageously impact the world for Jesus Christ.
It takes financial sacrifice for families to be part of our school since at least one family member needs to be available to guide and supervise the home-based learning days. The recent coronavirus pandemic has impacted our ability to have our first fundraising dinner on April 24th, yet the current needs have only grown.
Our total fundraising goal is now $50,000*. These are the immediate areas we need to raise money to finish this year well and prepare for a strong start to the 20-21 school year:
· Family Financial Assistance Fund ($10K - $20K*)
· Teacher Christmas Bonus ($10K)
· Operating Budget ($10K - $20K*)
* The coronavirus has had a significant impact on several of our families. This has increased the need for both Financial Assistance as well as our Operating budget. Our goal has increased from a minimum of $30K to now $50K.
