We all have such great memories participating in Gator Band. It has allowed us to make countless life long friendships, and more than a few marriages. It's been great for networking. I've asked favors, introductions, business advice, and more from people I met during those years. But how else does it serve us? For myself, participating in the band and band programs helped developed leadership skills that have served me for my entire career. It gave me the opportunity to work collaboratively with people of varying backgrounds and has helped me develop the necessary skill of seeing things from others' perspectives. It develops teamwork skills that can be used in countless ways both in career and in our personal lives. Where would we be without these life experiences? Would we be the same people without these experiences? Programs for art and music education are more vulnerable now than ever. This important documentary can inform the masses about these programs. Your donation allows you the opportunity to give back a little. Let's work together to share our stories, and save art and music education for future generations. All of us Gator band alumni are extremely proud of our fellow alumnus, Sara Flatow, in developing this important film.
