Tyler’s Place, an Arizona nonprofit 501(c)(3), serves teens with developmental disabilities by providing a safe after school care program where they can socialize with friends, participate in recreational activities and learn critical life skills. We founded Tyler’s Place AZ, Inc in honor of our son who was diagnosed with Autism at age 2 and is now almost 16. Upon entering high school, we searched for the right after-school program and struggled to find something that was both age appropriate and safe. Frustrated with our empty search, and knowing we are not the only parents struggling with this, we decided to open our own facility for special needs teenagers. We have come a long way in a short amount of time and are currently in the construction phase but need some help raising the funds necessary to complete the construction and get the facility ready to open. Our goal of $25,000 will provide what is needed to get us up and running and serving the youth who need us desperately. Any donation helps, thank you for your time!
