We are a dedicated, compassionate community that provides provide a variety of innovative and effective support services/programming that are offered free, and assist individuals in their own unique path to recovery, in a safe and substance free environment.
We are open 365 days/year, from 9-5pm. We offer 20+ unique wellness offerings (i.e. Yoga, Reiki, Tai Chi, art classes and Acudetox), as well as one-on-one peer support and recovery coaching. Daily, we have someone who is available to talk with guests and support them wherever they are at. Peer Support Specialists connect guests to local resources, for example, a place to get a free meal, housing, and more. They also provide an ear to listen to each individual. Our Recovery Coaches meet with guests and provide in-depth coaching based on the person’s needs.
After 5pm, we offer a space for community recovery meetings, such as Narcotics and Alcoholics Anonymous, etc., to be held. Monthly, we have over 3,000 guests who take part in our offerings.
Our Peer Recovery Coaching Program, at the University of Vermont Medical Center Emergency Room, has peer support specialists, available 24/7, meet with anyone who presents with an addiction, upon medical staff requests.
Our New Moms in Recovery Support Program, as the name suggests, provides workshops and support services to pregnant or new moms with children ages 0-5.
Lastly, our Employment Specialists, work with guests to help them secure jobs. This work may be anything from setting up an email account, writing resumes, to how to make a follow-up call to a potential employer.
