BENEFITING: THE IRONMAN FOUNDATION
ORGANIZER: THE IRONMAN FOUNDATION
EVENT: Tri Team for Good
EVENT DATE: Nov 17, 2013
If you are reading this, you already know a little about me. That I am the mother of 4 great kids, married to my best friend and have become a little over-involved in the sport of triathlon. After having been injured in last years attempt at Ironman Arizona - broken collarbone - I got up the next morning in a sling and sat at the computer for an hour trying desperatly to get a number for this years race. Most of you know - I am pretty determined. I was very lucky to actually get a number thru the Ironman Foundation - which is an amazing organization that raises money to give back to the communities in which Ironman events take place.
This year I have been chosen to be a member of the 2013 Ironman Foundation/Newton Running Triathlon Team. Thru this wonderful organization and on this team, I am continuing my journey to become an Ironman while raising money for a great cause.
Please consider supporting me in my mission to give back to the local communities that host the Ironman Arizona.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

The goal of The IRONMAN Foundation-Newton Running Tri Team is to: "create an action that happens once in time but has existing or lasting results or an action that happens continually or progressively." The team will create a moment to impact people, that does it in a way to build a legacy.
Kokua is a Hawaiian word that translates as “extending loving, sacrificial help to others for their benefit, not for personal gain. Through our Kokua, we hope to leave the world a better place.
Through the support of the team, The IRONMAN Foundation will partner with a local charity to leave our KOKUA in the Tempe, Arizona Community. Please help us leave a lasting legacy behind in our race community.
