I'm going back to Malawi !! While we will still be spending time with the kids at Mtendere Village, Kusewera has made great strides in expanding the organization to now include other villages and areas as well. We will be working with children in the Chitipi area of Lilongwe and at the Jacaranda School in Blantyre. For those of you not familiar with Malawi, it is a small, landlocked country in southeast Africa and it is known as the “Warm Heart of Africa” (which I can firmly attest to!). Since it is among the worlds least-developed countries with a population of over 16 million people, it relies heavily on outside aid. There are an estimated 800,000 orphans in Malawi due to HIV/Aids, famine and other causes, who need shelter, nutrition, education and most of
all ~ love. Educating & empowering these children is a key to a brighter future for Malawi and I feel so called to do this work every chance that I get.
Your donations & support have made this possible in the years before, and I thank you more than you can ever know.
