And so it begins.

I am preparing for a second year at Paddle for Plummer and I could not be more excited! This event is packed with mindful and caring watermen and women who are passionate about paddling, and even more so about the homeless children of New England. This unique location offers a home and a variety of services to homeless boys in an amazing location. The work that they do is evident at the actual event as the polite and appreciative residents help out from the early hours of the morning until the last competitor leaves late in the afternoon. I had a blast last year and I can NOT wait to return.
A four-mile elite race is no easy task. You need to paddle far, and you need to do it fast. I start training the first of April, and I will not be finished until the end of the summer. Last year, the conditions alone with high winds and high waves made this race a battle that I will never forget. Such a challenging race is hard to do without support and love at your back. I would appreciate any donation anyone can make. Your donation will give me the extra push to put "wind" at my back to fight the wind at my face.
Any donation, no matter how small, makes every day for these young men more enriched. Your contribution may help pay for mental health services, tutoring, food, and other necesities, or some of life's treats such as prom suits and visits to see family. America seems passionate about focusing on our youth at this time. With your help, we can do this together!
Don't want to just fork over your mullah without anything in return? With every $50 donation I will take you out for a two hour paddle from Peirce Island, New Hampshire.
Long distance donations? For every $50 donation I will send you homemade treats.
Don't believe me? Try me!
