If you are reading this, thank you. Most people won't take the time. But then again we are talking about Tom Graham. He moves mountains for a living.
There are so many adjectives. Faithful Follower, Husband, Father, Blue Collar Businessman. You would only need to go to one family event to understand Tom's influence. His 40th birthday party was the size of a small college football game. He has been blessed with so much already it seems almost inappropriate to ask for donations.
He was packing for a birthday trip and to celebrate his wife beating cancer this year. When the aneurysm ripped through the artery alongside his brain stem, he beat the odds. There was a 50% chance he wouldn't even make it to the local hospital alive. Weather prevented a quick helicopter flight and compelled him to be flow by fixed wing to San Bernardino and on to Loma Linda.
There have been ambulances, Emergency Rooms, a world class medical team, surgeons and technicians, CT scans every few hours, hotel rooms for his family, child care, transportation. He's gotten more than any man could ask for. This week he will lay in an ICU bed with one on one nursing, watching for the first signs of a bleed around the metal implant in his brain that protects the weakened vessel. It's too early to even consider how long he will need physical therapy.
God's will be done, Tom will walk out of the hospital some day and will return to work. Earning for years to pay down and move the mountain of debt that he will take home with him. It's how he was raised and just in his nature, hard work is all he has ever known.
If it is on your heart to help Tom, Jill & the girls, we ask for prayer, please join us. If you are moved to donate cash, send $10 or $100 or $1000 to whittle away the mountain with him.
