As an organization.we aim to increase attendance, provide a education, and create wholesome, enjoyable childhoods for children.

For $150 a child can receive the following for 1 year:

1. A Good Breakfast Consisting of Milk, Fruits, Snacks, and Biscuits
Our surveys have indicated that 80% of children have no food to eat before coming to school. Hunger distracts children from studying, demotivates them from coming to school, and degrades their physical and mental health. We have found that providing breakfast has increased attendance, academic performance, and the overall health of the children.

2. Proper School Supplies and Uniforms
As the government provides very little support to village schools in way of school supplies and uniforms, providing these necessities falls into the hands of villagers, NRIs, etc.

3. Annual Medical Checkups
With help from Rotary clubs and medical professionals, we ensure that every year, the children are receiving thorough medical checkups.

4. Recognition for Attendance, Grades, Sports, etc.
Throughout the year, we hold celebrations for special events such as Republic Day (January 26th). We invite all parents and village people to partake in the festivities and during these events, we give recognition to children for their academic and extracurricular performance. In addition, during these events we urge conversation between teachers and parents.

5. Encouragement to Attend School from Parents, Teachers, Foundation Supporters, etc.
Our foundation urges people to visit their village schools and encourage the children. In addition, every month, we hold a party for the children whose birthdays are during that month. This function serves as a good opportunity for teachers to speak at length with parents and encourage them to send their children to school.

6. A Fun and Enriching Childhood
As part of our foundation’s mission to build wholesome childhoods for children, we create programs that will both provide enjoyment and opportunities for exploration, learning, and grow. We ensure that every year, each child is able to go on at least one field trip. At every school we support, we also make sure that there is a full and safe playground for the children to enjoy. In addition, as part of our festivities for Diwali, Republic Day, etc. our foundation distributes small gifts to the children. In order to help the children learn and grow, we will also be implementing a program in which we will provide books and reward children for reading.

7. A Modernized School that is Safe, Clean, and Conducive to Learning and Fun

In each school that our foundation supports, we quickly identify and address any blatant health concerns, such as poor structural integrity of the building or dilapidated restrooms. In addition, in order to create an environment of learning, enrichment, and fun, we renovate classrooms and continuously strive to install and implement the use of modern technologies.
