TOM or Tikkun Olam Makers is an Israeli-turned-global humanitarian project founded in 2014 by Reut that develops and manufactures open source assistive technology for the elderly, veterans and people living with disabilities. Volunteers at TOM work with their local communities to develop products to assist people where the market or government cannot. These people may have a specific need for a niche product that does not exist or the existing product may be very costly and / or unavailable in their location.
Today volunteer maker communities in 24 different countries have developed more than 450 open source solutions to improve peoples' daily lives. Learn more at tomglobal.org and follow us on social media here!
TOM is a core project of Reut USA, a non-profit organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Federal ID # 20-3585888. Contributions are tax deductible in the USA to the extent allowed by law.

TOM During COVID-19
To help flatten the curve during COVID-19, TOM is providing an online platform for individuals and groups to join the global maker movement to co-develop, manufacture and deliver open source protective solutions (PPE) and medical supplies to essential workers and forgotten frontliners worldwide. To date, our volunteer communities and partners have self-manufactured and donated 43,000+ units of PPE and medical supplies to assistive living and senior care, special education centers, fertility clinics, mental health facilities, and medical systems aross the globe.
Our mission is to donate one million units of protective gear and other solutions by sharing knowledge and supporting the local manufacturing and distribution of solutions at below market costs. Visit our PPE for Frontliners Campaign to help us purchase more 3D printing materials to make PPE for essential workers.
