The <wit> project is empowering the next generation of women of color to lead social change through socially impactful technology solutions for nonprofits tackling humanity’s most pressing issues. Our fellowship is designed to empower undergraduate women from diverse communities to become agents of change through community, mentorship, and innovation. Our fellowship includes 8-week technical training and 16-week software engineering experience in partnership with a nonprofit organization. We teach our fellows how to leverage technology to make an impact in a supportive environment designed to promote creativity and collaboration. Fellows also receive one-on-one advising from women in tech and industry experts and make life-long, inspiring friendships with program participants and alumni.
