Founded on the simple premise that work works, the Doe Fund's initiatives end devastating cycles of homelessness, incarceration, and addiction through paid transitional work and training, safe and comfortable housing, education, job readiness and placement, and lifelong graduate resources. I'll be fundraising for and running on behalf of the Doe Fund because I believe in its fundamental philosophy: those desperately in need of help must be treated like assets that can be developed rather than liabilities that have to be managed.
Among similar New York City-based organizations, the Doe Fund has been the most successful in terms of lowering criminal recidivism rates and ensuring higher work attainment rates for the formerly homeless and incarcerated. I would like to see its remarkable track record continue and would be immensely grateful for your help. Thank you for your support!
