The Beats of India is a chance for people to see various NYC Indian dance groups showcase their talents. Indian dance is constantly evolving while also staying true to its traditional roots. Dancing For A Difference is a nonprofit organization that aims to raise awareness for the beauty of the Indian arts as well as to bring the dance community together. All proceeds from the show will go towards our mission - providing free dance classes to low-income communities in NYC in addition to Free the Slaves https://www.freetheslaves.net/ a nonprofit organization that aims to eradicate slavery around the world.
In order to make this show happen, I need your help! Your donations go to:
1) Free dance classes for young girls ages 7-9 in Harlem
2) Free dance classes for students ages 14-18 in Harlem
3) Costumes and props
4) Dance studio rental
5) Theater space rental for this amazing show!
6) Portion of your donations go to the nonprofit organization, Free the Slaves

Dance increases self-confidence and is a great way for kids to express themselves.
