Orange County Deaf Advocacy Center's Fundraiser:

The Richard Roehm Memorial Ranch for the Deaf, Blind, and Autistic

The Richard Roehm Memorial Ranch is going to be a self-sustaining independent living and training facility by and for the deaf, blind, and autistic. Each person in the independent living program will have their own tiny home. We will be living and working on the land, growing food, raising animals, and using renewable resources. Our clients will learn not only the skills needed to live with their sensory impairment but they will also be exposed to living using sustainable living practises and earth friendly methods of doing things. There will be a lease to own program so that a client living in a tiny house trailer may buy their home and then take it with them if they decide to go buy their own land or move somewhere else. There is a big need for affordable housing in the sensory impaired community. The Ranch will be a one stop shop for everything that is needed to learn to live with a sensory impairment. $100,000 will help us buy the land and equipment needed to start building the Ranch. Please join us today and help make it a reality.
