As businessowners and residents of the Asheville community, we recognize the importance of literacy for individual success, business success, and the success of our community. The ability to read and write is foundational for the ability to grow a healthy and sustainable region. We are excited to know that the Literacy Council's work allows others to share our love for words.
But we're also really competitive! We love challenging ourselves and others, whether it's in the library or on playground. Enter Joe Scully, Kevin Westmoreland and LisaRose Barnes with the food establishments, Chestnut, Corner Kitchen and Corner Kitchen Catering. Donate to this great cause, and then come on out to support and cheer us on as we spell our way to sucess on Wednesday, April 5 at the Salvage Station for the 26th Annual Literacy Council Spelling Bee. We're ready for the challenge!
