The New York City Alliance Against Sexual Assault works tirelessly to prevent sexual violence and ensure survivors receive the best acute and follow-up care post-assault. It is estimated about 50,000 women annually are victims of sexual violence in New York City - your support could make a difference in their lives.
- We work with individual survivors who have trouble accessing the systems they need in order to receive quality care by collaborating with NYC’s rape crisis programs and hospitals, District Attorney offices, New York Police Department, court officials and city leaders in all five boroughs.
- Our prevention programs enable a wide range of audiences from middle school youth to nightlife staff to navigate the sexual assault trends that are unique to their respective NYC communities and institutions.
- Our skills training initiatives provides medical practitioners and human services professionals with advocacy support, cutting-edge prevention models, and expert training so that they can develop interventions that best reflect the needs of their communities, be it a campus, neighborhood or an underserved community.
Please help us fulfill our mission of prevention sexual violence and reducing the harm it causes through education, research and advocacy with your support in the No More Challenge!
