BENEFITING: TRAGEDY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR SURVIVORS
ORGANIZER: TRAGEDY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR SURVIVORS
EVENT DATE: Nov 06, 2016
I set my sight on NYC 2016 marathon 2 years ago & knew when I ran, that I would be running for charity. Having family + close friends who served and are still active duty, I wanted to get involved with an organization which supports military families. I'm honored to run in remembrance of our fallen heroes & for the continued support of their loved ones. TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) is an amazing organization, working 24/7 to provide resources such as counseling, peer mentoring, seminars & retreats to ANYONE affected by the loss of a military loved one.
I am so grateful for the opportunity to run on behalf of the TAPS organization and I am even more grateful for all my supporters who will run along in spirit during my 26.2. THANK YOU!!!
I hope you will join me in assisting those in the midst of such tragic loss. Thank you so much supporting this fundraiser & me in my goal to run 26.2 miles this November.

Run with Team TAPS at the TCS New York City Marathon! Hundreds of people every year participate in Team TAPS events throughout the country to remember and honor our fallen service members--while raising funds and awareness to assist TAPS. Run with confidence that every dollar you fundraise goes quickly to provide help, hope, and healing to the families who are left behind. If you are up for a challenge in both endurance and fundraising, have a caring heart, and would like to honor the memory of a fallen service member, then we would love to have you join Team TAPS in our inaugural year at the TCS New York City Marathon!
The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) offers compassionate care to all those grieving the death of a loved one serving in our Armed Forces. Since 1994, TAPS has provided comfort and hope 24 hours a day, seven days a week through a national peer support network and connection to grief resources, all at no cost to surviving families and loved ones.
