RUNNING THE CAPE FOR THE KIDS
REACH Newtown is thrilled to participate in the Cape Cod Ragnar Relay Series once again. This year we have a lot of people "running the cape for the kids" (48 people, split into 4 teams), all running in support of REACH Newtown's continuous efforts to connect kids and build relationships through summer programs, outdoor expeditions, and one-to-one mentorship programs.
Campers taking in REACH Summer Camp are offered a chance to step out of their comfort zone, try new things, and challenge their own thinking. REACH Newtown also partnered with EverWonder Museum, Two Coyotes Wilderness School, Robotics & Beyond, Club Newfit, and Newtown Parks and Recreation to provide an even richer experience that these children will surely never forget.
HELP US REACH EVEN HIGHER
This year, we are not just running to simply raise money, we are running to give even more children the opportunity to experience a unique type of summer camp that they normally would not be able to partake in. So please join our 48 amazing runners (and countless other volunteers), and help make this summer an unforgettable one for the kids of REACH Newtown!
OUR EYES ON THE PRIZE: SUMMER PROGRAMMING FOR 2016
The focus of this year's Ragnar will be to raise support for REACH's summer programming for 2016. One of REACH's many initiatives started back in the summer of 2015 when the organization launched a Summer Camp that would forever be remembered by the campers who explored the woods at Cullen's Youth Association in Newtown, CT.
