EVENT DATE: Jan 21, 2013

DEADLINE TO GIVE: Feb 21, 2013

The 2013 Team Golfathon was created to encourage High School Students to raise money for a great cause.  Through this effort, these young adults will make a difference by raising awareness and needed funds for Water@Work, an Atlanta, GA based 501c3 Charity bringing much needed clean water to refugees living in the Dominican Republic. (

"Students at several Georgia High Schools will form teams of three players participating in the day-long Golfathon on Monday, January 21, 2013.  Each trying to raise $2,000 in individual sponsorships prior to the event", says Mitch Fenbert, a Senior at The Lovett School in Atlanta and creator of Team Golfathon.

The program goal of $12,000 will allow Water@Work to bring clean water to a remote Haitian Village (Batey) in the DR, positively impacting the health of over 3,000 people in need.
