I think equality is pretty important. So does the Courage Campaign. So I am running to help them raise money to train activists and bring attention to policies, programs, and projects that promote a more just and equitable world.

Our team is running to help put an end to discrimination against LGBT Americans.
Last year, our first year as an official charity of the LA Marathon, we had 44 people on the team and we raised nearly $45,000. This year, we have set our sights on matching that great first-year achievement. Join us! Run the race or be a fundraising member of the team and cheer us on! Make a donation right on this page. The page and team is in formation right now. Registration closes January 31, 2013.
This is the civil-rights cause of our generation, and we are running to raise money to educate the public. The Courage Campaign Institute works to use public education, strategic research and training to help create a more equal society and defend and extend human and civil rights.
Your tax-deductible donation will help the Courage Campaign Institute keep up the fight to move opinion and to keep people informed about the personal consequences of discrimination. We are training young leaders, and we are publicizing stories that change hearts. As the struggle for fairness works its way through the courts of law, we need to keep up the work in the court of public opinion. This helps create an environment that is safer for kids and families. That's what your donation will do!
Join as a runner and raise $1500. Or, join the team as a supporter by making a donation today! Help a runner reach the finish line. Let the team know that they have your support as they try to cover 26.2 miles on March 17, 2103. And, if you are in Los Angeles, come out to the course on race day and cheer the runners!
