Tomorrow's Hope started 20 years ago, roughly the same time-frame that my Dad, Denis Wiedenhoeft, was first diagnosed with cancer. We attended every Walk Fest through his 9 year battle with cancer and I have only missed 1 Walk Fest in the time-frame since his passing. Since the diagnosis of my Dad's cancer, we have unfortunately lost more family and friends to cancer and/or other life threatening diseases but have also witnessed others continue their courageous battles with these terrible diseases. Most recently Melissa's Dad, Marlin Stickney, and Tricia Wiedenhoeft were diagnosed with cancer. Both have been giving it their all to battle back and have been blessed with recent promising test results. We believe that the diagnosis and treatments have improved since Dad's diagnosis and treatments and feel it has a lot to due with organizations like Tomorrow's Hope and those that support the cause. We started this team to continue the fight against cancer, other life threatening diseases and to support hospice and all that they offer to patients and their families - so that our family and friends may always have HOPE for Tomorrow.
