Friends and family,
This May, I will be participating in the 2017 Tour De Rouge, a 6 day 537 mile fundraising ride from Houston, TX to New Orleans, LA. As part of the ride, I have commited to raising $2500 to benefit and raise awareness for the Arc of Greater Houston in their mission to provide services and advocacy for people with mental and developmental disabilities.
If you would like to support me and our team's full fundraising goal of $15,000, please consider a donation of any amount. All donations are tax deductible and will be going to a great cause!
Check back here for updates as we work towards our fundraising and training goals!
A little bit about The Arc:
The Arc is a nationwide non-profit organization formed in 1950 to advocate for the inclusion of people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities in all aspects of society. The Arc operates at the national, state, and local levels. The Arc works in collaboration with other agencies and organizations to facilitate the development of a wide array of options available to individuals and their families in our community.
The Arc is a member-based organization that relies on membership and program fees, contributions from corporations, foundations, individuals, and contracts to implement and expand our programs and services for children and adults with developmental disabilities.
The Arc has been instrumental in the creation of virtually every program service, right and benefit available to people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities across the United States.
