BENEFITING: Greater Chicago Cavalier Rescue
The Greater Chicago Cavalier Rescue mission is to provide significant financial, physical, and emotional support to Cavaliers and families in need. But we can only continue to do this with the help of our generous donors and volunteers. Teagon arrived in October 2016 from a commercial kennel in Pennsylvania. Teagon was diagnosed with a PDA (patent ductus arteriosus), a congenital birth defect where blood is not pumped to the rest of the body as it should which creates a strain on the heart. Teagon will have a balloon catheter procedure in mid-November to correct her PDA, at an estimated cost of $3500.
