Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids provides free emotional healthcare to children, adult and friends who are in different stages of dealing with cancer or have lost a loved one in their life as a result of other causes.
Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids is supported primarily through monetary donations and gifts and was founded by cancer survivors. The 3 survivors realized that there was a need for more resources in the form of social and emotional support to those who have gone through the process of dealing with cancer in any way. The program is set up like a home in the heart of a residential neighborhood and is a place of warmth and welcome for the community. There are several support groups that meet at the Clubhouse tailored to those living with cancer, kids who have been impacted by cancer and family and friends who need to share their experiences supporting a loved one with cancer.
Join us as we support Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids as they help provide a place of refuge and support for those battling cancer or supporting a loved one living with cancer.
