Brian and Alyson Rockhold were friends for 15 years before getting married in 2017. After they met in high school, they both went on to various adventures. Brian got a sociology degree from Texas A&M University, led the youth group at his church and had a job in social work. Eventually his strong faith and love of scripture led him to get his Masters of Theology. Alyson got her undergraduate degree in Missions and Biology and then a dual Masters in Public Health and Physician Assistant studies. She then spent 2 years as a Jesuit Volunteer in Tanzania. Ever since they started dating, Brian and Alyson knew they wanted a missional marriage. This desire to serve God together internationally first took them to Haiti for Alyson to work at a malnutriiton clinic and Brian to preach at a church for 4.5 months. Now after over a year of prayer and seeking the Lord's guidance, they are thrilled to commit to serving with CMMB in Zambia!

CMMB is an NGO focused exclusively on global health care for the world’s poorest populations. We believe in a world in which every human life is valued, and health and human dignity are shared by all. Every year, we are so lucky to have generous, courageous people step forward and volunteer their time and expertise in areas of the world where it is most needed. They leave behind loved ones and employment to support our mission to help vulnerable women, children and families survive.
