BENEFITING: Fisher House Foundation, Inc.

EVENT DATE: Nov 11, 2013

Debbie Jewell

My family is just one family of tens of thousands, who understands what military life is like and what true sacrifice is. Ranger Printing's founder, my Dad, Ronald L. Lane was a graduate of West Point Military Academy and an Airborne Ranger with the 101st Airborne Division when I was born. He served our United States of America for more than two decades under a mantel of "GOD, FAMILY, DUTY, HONOR, COUNTRY ". In 1996,  he was buried at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors. In tribute to him and to support our troops' sacrifice and service, we hold this annual golf tournament to benefit Fisher House Foundation.

This year's government shutdown created unbelievable hardships for families of our fallen troops by temporarilty denying them death benefits due to the three week shutdown. After finding out about this terrible problem, Fisher House acted to bridge the gap and promptly paid death benefits due the families. Thanks to the generosity of a passionate American public, Fisher House Foundation was able to gift families a total of $650,000 . The $25,000 gifts were made in addition to the military death benefits that had been "temporarily withheld" due to the shutdown. On behalf of a grateful nation, Ranger Printing is seeking to help support the efforts of Fisher House Foundation. To learn more about the Golf event please visit:

We stand behind and concur with the sentiments of Chairman and CEO, Ken Fisher, who said " We thank our heroes and their families for showing us the true face of commitment to our country"!

Fisher House Foundation is best known for the network of comfort homes built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers nationwide and in Europe. Fisher "Houses" are beautiful homes, donated to the military and Department of Veterans Affairs which enable family members to be close to a loved one at the most stressful time - during the hospitalization for a combat injury, illness or disease. We are appreciative of any donation to support our troops and thank you for your consideration!
