Support the Stern Center by participating in the Mad Marathon. Download the registration form on our website to begin.
Help raise money for our Scholarship Program by sponsoring a runner (or walker) in the 2013 Mad Marathon by making a donation to the Stern Center. A scholarship allows a learner, who otherwise could not financially access our services, to receive a learning evaluation or customized instruction at a reduced rate. This opportunity allows them to discover and build upon their learning strengths and achieve academic success. Our scholarship program depends on gifts and grants to make services available to eligible families. By running or walking for the Stern Center, you are helping those families. Thank you!

The following story illustrates the impact of our work:
As both his legal guardian and his educational advocate…my belief that without this intervention he would not have the credits necessary to graduate nor the skill set to pursue a vocation to help him transition successfully to adulthood...After 5 years of academic failure, he could finally attend both his therapeutic day program and Stern Center to have both his learning disabilities and his emotional challenges addressed.
Of significant benefit to not only us as his guardians but also to his clinical treatment team was the documentation provided by the Stern Center that allowed us to track his daily progress. When there was difficulty we knew it and could appropriately respond. When there were successes they too were shared and reinforced. Our nephew gained self confidence in himself not only thanks to improvements academically but through the respect and encouragement given to him for his strengths artistically and athletically.
The Stern Center is where he has achieved great success; it is where he gained a stronger foundation on which to begin his transition to adulthood.
