The Hall STEPS Foundation

Led by Elite runners Ryan and Sara Hall, Steps engages the running community in funding grants to care for the 4-5 million orphaned children and 60,000 children living on the streets in Ethiopia. Funds also aid orphan prevention through education, clean water, health clinics, and microlending throughout East Africa.

<p>Elite runners Ryan and Sara Hall founded the Hall Steps Foundation to take small steps towards the marathon goal of ending poverty. Awesome, here&#39;s a little more.<br /> <br /> The Hall Steps Foundation aims to empower the running community to use the energy and resources that fuel runners&rsquo; athletic achievements for social justice efforts. &nbsp;Steps funds initiatives that tackle structural causes of poverty such as chronic lack of access to basic entitlements including clean water, shelter and physical security. Specifically, Steps partners with leading international and local nonprofits in Sub-Saharan Africa &nbsp;to fund projects that invest in sustainable methods of enhancing access to basic essentials.
