STEAM 3D TEEN HACKATHON
EVENT DATE: Aug 21, 2015
DEADLINE TO GIVE: Dec 31, 2015
Let’s bring together youth to innovate on 3D printing technologies.
STEAM 3D teen hackathon connects youth with 3D printing technologies and the entire Puget Sound with the spirit of competition, camaraderie and community.
It brings regular youth to develop innovative products using 3D printing technologies to help our schools. Over the course of two days, in the heart of Puget Sound, more than 10 teams will be given 24 hours to create a solution to solve challenges in our schools using 3D printing technologies.
Day 1 is like a “Project Runaway” where youth from ages 10 to 18 will compete with each other to create products using 3D printing technologies followed by a “Shark Tank” like pitch competition. That is why this project is called a 3D TEEN Hackathon. The 3D ideas will be judged by leaders in business, technology, non-profits, and universities. The ideas will then be put into action at schools to aid in producing necessary equipment.
Help our youth push forward on the road of 3D innovation and allowing our team to provide a 3D teen hackathon platform for youth. Show your support to #STEAM3D by donating today!
Note : Kids without Borders is our nonprofit fiscal sponsor.
