BioPrinting: A New Technology to Curing Disabilities
Organized by: Anjan Katta
Event Name: CGIU Commitments Challenge Round 2
AMOUNT RAISED IN PREVIOUS ROUND: $300
With the emergence of a new technology called 3D printing, for the first time in history it has become possible to build almost anything you want. However, this amazing technology is often used to make knick knacks and figurines - we aim to change this precedent. This CGI University Commitment to Action aims to make the world a better place by creating a 'Bio-3D Printer.’ This printer will be able to create biological and medical instruments such as human cartilage and tendons. This innovation can usher in a new breakthrough in curing mobility disabilities in an effective and affordable way.
