Opportunity starts with a safe, healthy and affordable place to call home. Over the past 31 years, Enterprise has created 300,000 homes across the country.
Yet, so much work remains. Nationwide, more than 20 million people spend more than half their income on housing costs. On any given night in New York, the number of homeless people sleeping on the streets of New York City would fill up Madison Square Garden.
Together we can ensure that all New Yorkers have a place to call home, in a vibrant community filled with the opportunity for a good life.
To support Enterprise's work to ensure that every family in New York has a fit and affordable place to call home, my colleagues and I are launching Spin for Strong Communities with a goal to raise $5,000. On April 20, I need your help to meet this goal! Join me for 45 minutes in a fun, high-energy indoor spinning session at Pedal NYC.
And, if you raise or donate $100 or more by April 20, you will be entered to win a signed photograph personalized to you by actor, director and Enterprise Trustee Edward Norton!
Here's how you can help:
1. Create Your Own Fundraising Page. You can create your own fundraising page that you can share with all your friends, family and colleagues and ask them to donate.
2. Not ready to fundraise? Give whatever you can to Enterprise’s Spin for Strong Communities page.
Meeting our $5,000 goal will bring us closer to our mission to create opportunity by building and preserving safe, affordable and energy-efficient homes for New York families and neighborhoods. This is a great opportunity to make our workout count for New York’s low-income families and communities.
The first 30 people to RSVP for Spin for Strong Communities will have a spot in the room!
