BENEFITING: GLOBAL AUTISM PROJECT
ORGANIZER: GLOBAL AUTISM PROJECT
My name is Brianna Joseph. I am a doctoral student at Florida Atlantic University. I am excited and thrilled to be a part of the SkillCorps Kenya January 2017 team. SkillCorps allows me to provide services for children with autism in Kenya. There are 1:68 individuals around the world with autism. In many other countries, resources are so scarce for children with autism that parents are often their only therapist. They are exhausted, overburdened, and isolated. There is only 1 center for children with autism and only 1 board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) in the entire country. Just imagine each state in the United Stated of America only having one center in each state or in each region…
You can help change that by supporting the Global Autism Project’s mission to train qualified behavior analyst and behavior assistants all over the world! Donations are also tax deductible and will pay for materials for the children, building maintenance, staff training, advocacy networks, and parent outreach programs. My goal is to raise $5,000 by November 15, 2016. Every donation matters to me. Whatever you can donate would contribute to the sustainability of providing services for families that have children with autism and will allow me to be a part of this extraordinary opportunity. Every donation matters to me. Thank you for your support and donations.
