This multi-year initiative will provide mental health screening and support for 700 children with disabilities and their families (100 of these children will be under the age of 5). The program will assist refugees in the north of Lebanon (near the Syrian border) as well as in the far south. Support will also include home-based care support and access to physical rehabilitative programs for children. This project will also involve local schools to improve infrastructure and support educators who work with disabled children to support their mental health needs and diagnosis.
Please donate today, and also plan to join us at "Skate4Syrians", a special fundraising event for supporters of all ages!
