I've been selected to run the 2013 Boilermaker as a charity runner for the Sitrin FundRacers! To earn my Boilermaker bib, I need your help raising a minimum of $500 for the Sitrin Medical Rehabilitation Center, a non-profit organization located in New Hartford, NY.
All funds raised will support Sitrin’s Military Rehabilitation Program, which provides specialized services to help our nation's heroes recover from post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, amputation, and other combat-related conditions.
Funds will also benefit Sitrin’s STARS Program for people with physical disabilities who wish to engage in recreational or competitive sports.
As a Paralympic Sport Club, Sitrin offers:
- Wheelchair road racing
- Cross-country skiing
- Adaptive shooting
- Wheelchair basketball
- Wheelchair curling
- Adaptive golf
- Adaptive paddling

Thank you for your support!
Renee and Tyson are excited to run their 7th Boilermaker in their home away from home, Utica. Renee, a native of Utica, and Tyson were married at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Church in 2004 the same year the couple ran their first Boilermaker. Since that time, the Boilermaker Road Race has marked a special time for their Utica family to reunite with Renee, Tyson and their two children all from Washington, D.C. This year’s race will take on additional meaning as the couple is humbled by the opportunity to run for the benefit of Sitrin Health Care Center. Their grandmother, the late Agnes Juidiciani, called Sitrin home for many years where she received continuous, compassionate care. To a place that gave their family comfort and peace of mind, Renee and Tyson are grateful for the opportunity to give back by running in the World’s Greatest 15K. Let’s Go Team Sitrin.
