THE STORY:

Shave a Brother to Save a Brother is an fundraiser deeply valued by the brothers of Delta Phi. It honors Kevin Ballantine, a brother we lost to Leukemia several years ago. Originally a member of the Cornell Class of 2010, Kevin touched and inspired more people in his 23 years than most people do in a lifetime. Kevin lived his life for others and always emphasized compassion, selflessness, and empathy. Kevin's motto, "Be the change you wish to see in this world.", motivates us every day to be more like him.

Because of how much he meant to Delta Phi and the Cornell community, we hold this philanthropy event in his honor and memory. On Wednesday April 19th, 2017, we will be on Ho Plaza shaving our heads to express our support for Kevin and our commitment to carrying on his legacy.
