What is the Communiversity?

The #Communiversity is a leadership hub and learning village in Guatemala where youth from Central America emerge as leaders, knowledge brokers and practitioners that will lead the transition towards just, resilient and thriving communities. As an internationally recognized gathering place, the SERES Communiversity facilitates cross-pollination among local leaders, community-based practitioners, researchers, scholars, students and the philanthropic community who are committed towards developing a more socially and environmentally equitable world.

What will we do with the money?

We will use it for the first Pioneering Phase of the project, which will consist of:

What is SERES?

We are a local, youth-led association of Guatemalan and El Salvadorian folks working to unleash leadership for resilient futures among a growing network of 2,500 youth from more than 376 rural and often marginalized communities. SERES team has developed a sustainability education curriculum recognized and awarded by the United Nations Education Science and Culture Organisation (UNESCO) for igniting youth leadership and start creating positive social change from where they are.
