It's time to end the silence about addiction... Director of National Drug Control Policy at the White House states... Those of us who have lost loved ones and those of us in recovery from substance abuse disorders must speak up and tell our stories. By putting faces and voices to the disease of addiction and the promise of recovery we can challenge the stereotypes and misperceptions that still keep too many people from getting the help they need.. I, Canica Bouthot, work for a women's sober house and am in recovery myself. I have raised some money to help represent Maine at this event and now I need help!! Crunch time is here..
